Using the core knowledge acquired in the first two years of study, in Years 3 and 4 students can choose from a wide range of optional advanced modules in both business and law. At this point students can continue to study both disciplines, or they can choose to primarily specialise in either or business or law, depending on their personal interests or career aspirations. Lectures and tutorials are delivered in small class sizes to facilitate greater interaction and active learning. A diverse range of teaching approaches are adopted including formal lectures with tutorial support, business case-study analysis, debates, role play, industry project work, charity events, simulation exercises and networking events. Of particular note is the opportunity for students to take part in both national and international business strategy case study competitions in the final year of the course.
