MSc ROBOTICS AND EMBEDDED AI

The Robotics and Embedded AI MSc will provide graduates in computing, engineering and cognate disciplines with specialised training in the design and control of intelligent machines. Robotics is a multi-disciplinary field of study requiring skills in computing, electronics and mechanical engineering. Teamwork, innovation and the validation of science through practice are central to this success in this field. The programme has a large team project each semester where students explore the application of the theories of robotics with a focus on design thinking and innovation in the first semester and system realisation and evaluation in the second semester. In the third semester, they undertake a large independent research project in partnership with industry or the robotics research group.

MA ACCOUNTING

A Masters Programme in Accounting provides students with the key competencies required by a professional accountant in an ever-changing business and ethical environment. This one-year programme is designed for students who have taken an Accounting focused Business degree and have full CAP1 exemptions. The MA Accounting is accredited by Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Successful graduates have exemption from CAP 2 examinations (CAI) and AA (ACCA). Students will be encouraged to develop critical and analytical skills and apply their knowledge to unstructured situations. MASTER OF SCIENCE BUSINESS

The MSc Business provides the student with the opportunity to select from the wide range of modules available to our postgraduate students in the School of Business. Choice is dependent on the entry level of the candidate in terms of having prior business education/experience, but there are a wide range of modules available from seven distinct subject areas: Business Analytics, Finance, International Business, Management of Information Systems, General Management, Marketing (including Digital Marketing), and Strategy &Innovation.
